Matthew 24:45-46...Taking Care of Others...

“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.

Whenever you have been left in charge of things for someone until their return a great trust has been placed in your hands. During these opportunities we find within ourselves the discipline needed to carry out the task to keep things in order. Yet there are some that squander the opportunity and the moment and let things go, paying no attention to the ruin and destruction that may befall. We have been entrusted with the gospel of Christ and the way we should love others, extend mercy and forgiveness. We have instructions on lovingkindness, grace and examples of how we should use these tools to show Jesus living through each of us. If we fail to show the love of God through our actions, our words and our lives then we are throwing away a great opportunity to serve God. There are many watching and listening to us today and with that in mind we must be careful to demonstrate that Jesus lives, He lives within our hearts.
