Mark 1:35...Pray...

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Jesus spent time alone with His Father. Often we find that He retired to a quiet area to be alone and to pray. In the hustle  and bustle  of our day it is important that we find a place and a time to be alone with God. A time to read and listen to His Word. This is where we find comfort and security. God’s Word is filled with directions for our lives and with promises for our future. It brings comfort to our souls and heals our hurting hearts. His Word sings songs that soothes our ears and speaks joy that stirs our hearts. His Word calms our soul, stirs our mind with thoughts of love and compassion, hope and praise, grace and mercy. No greater text has ever been penned than the Word of God and within its pages we will hear God speaking to each of us. Read and listen, pray and lay your burdens at His feet.

Blessings,
