Hebrews 11:1-3...Faith in Christ...

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

As Christians we walk by faith in the assurance of our salvation given to us by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. By the same faith we acknowledge that God created the universe from nothing. It is vital that we remember that God created all that we know to exist in a matter of six days. There are too many forces surrounded us these days trying to chip away at our faith and our beliefs and many are targeting the creation account. They would have you believe in millions of years and of death and destruction prior to Adam’s fall but they are simply wrong. The God we serve is quite capable of creating the universe in the blink of an eye and certainly within six days. Remain strong in your faith and do not be swayed by those who want to change the facts.
