1 Chronicles 16:8-9...Praise Our God...

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
    make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
    tell of all his wonderful acts.

How well do you know the people around you? How well do they know you? Do you express your faith and belief in Jesus and give praise to God openly and without shame. Ponder these questions as we think about the verses above. We owe our very existence to God who formed us in our mother’s womb. We are special to Him and we are to proclaim His Holy Name to everyone. When we accept Christ as our Savior we want everyone to know the joy and peace that we experience. We want to share how the gospel has changed our hearts and we want to see others come to Jesus. This is the Holy Spirit working within us and prompting us to lift up our hands in praise. God is Great and worthy of our praise. Let us always be ready to tell of His marvelous ways.
