Genesis 18:13-14...Miracles Happen...
Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
We have all had circumstances where we sought after God’s direction and answers. Often we have pleaded with God to fulfill a need or to heal a loved one. This is our faith in action believing that God can and will do miracles. Abraham and Sarah were taken back and even scoffed at the idea that they might become parents in their late 90’s., knowing that God had promised them uncountable offspring. Even in their day this was would have been considered a great miracle. The Lord said to Abraham and Sarah “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” The answer is plain and simple, no! God, who created all of the universe, is certainly capable of granting these two with a son. By the same token God still works with the very same might and power today. I often wonder how many miracles and how many have been healed by the power of prayer from God’s people. Exercise your faith in believing and seek God’s direction, you may be surprised where it leads…
