Jude 1:5-7…God’s Love...
Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.
There is no denying that the world around us seems more and more corrupt. Day by day we hear new accounts of the perverse nature of satan and his followers as they teach and influence many to deny Christ and therefore set their destination toward destruction and eternal darkness. We see strongholds of our faith becoming targets such as the family, our children and our faith. Stand firm fellow Christians as we have God on our side and we know the eternal outcome. Though times may be tough and the world seems to be upside down, focus your attention on God. We cannot afford to be distracted by the wiles of those that follow darkness. Instead we must be firm in our faith and willing to share the love of Christ with those around us, always forwarding the gospel message in hopes of planting seeds that will be harvested by the Holy Spirit. May God’s love flow through you to others so that His love and His message will be heard by all.
Blessings,
