1 John 3:1-2…We Shall See Him...

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.  Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

As children of God we have the great promise of eternal life in heaven. Along with that promise is the assurance that we will see God as He is. All of the wonder that He possesses, all of the splendor that surrounds Him, all will be seen. This promise is what the world does not understand. Try as they may the understanding of salvation and the promises that we have are not revealed. We have a calm assurance that is not understood in the world. We have a love that reaches beyond understanding. We have a great Father in heaven that lavishes His love upon us everyday. Oh but the rest of the world would come to know Him. Share the love of Christ with those you meet, with your family and friends and give testimony as to what God has done and is doing in your life. Share the gospel story…
