Matthew 6:19-21…Find Your Treasure...

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

So much of the world today is focused on treasure that is earthly or of this world. Emphisis has been placed on gathering wealth and expanding your portfolio by those who do not have a clue what real treasure is all about. It is so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day race to become rich and famous, especially with the help of social media and the almost instantaneous revelation of the events of the hour. Instead of spending our time following the trends of a social media guru or the influencers of the day, who have no idea of God, let us spend time understanding the greatest and most powerful news of all time. Jesus came to pay the price for our sins and to offer FREE salvation for all. No prerequisites, no requirement to clean up you life beforehand, only the simple desire to believe and to accept that Jesus is Lord. He died and rose again for our sins. Our trust and faith in Him as Lord id the greatest treasure ever. Telling others about Jesus and spreading the gospel message is our purpose and our time should be devoted planting the seeds of kindness and mercy at every opportunity. Be gracious and loving, kind to each other and at every opportunity pray and seek God’s direction for the day.
