John 8:12…In the Light of His Presence...

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Have you ever just sat in the dark and noticed the effect it has on you? You cannot see so your mind plays tricks on you, you think you hear things and wonder why is making the noise. You lose your perspective and your orientation because you have no central reference point to focus upon. This is how satan would have you live your life. Aimless and wandering without a focus and without direction. His lies (which is his native language) would carry you to brink of destruction without your knowledge. Praise God we do not have to live in this darkness! We have the light of Christ and His promises. We have direction and purpose and we are able to look around and see His greatness surrounding us everyday. We feel His presence and we know that He is the Light and the Truth. We hold true to the promise of walking in the light of His Glory. Thank you Lord for your shinning light that removes the darkness.
