John 1:1-3…In The Beginning...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

We take for granted the existence of things around us. We get water from the tap, food is readily available at the store or restaurant. We have the ability to make many things that we need and want, however, all too often we forget about who bestowed these talents and abilities upon us and who created all of this “In The Beginning”. The more that man is able to accomplish, it seems, the further he gets away from his creator. As Christians we should lead the way in acknowledging the fact that God created everything and without Him nothing was made. He owns it all, He made it all, He gives us our abilities to accomplish great and mighty things. He is in charge! When that message is understood and adopted it helps us in giving praise to God, where it belongs. It causes us to be thankful and to rejoice in His creation. Our God is an Awesome God, ow and forevermore…
