So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

How do you approach your day? Many people start each day complaining about what is wrong and how it will affect them for the rest of the day. Others just awake with a chip on their shoulder daring anyone to knock it off and tip the scales to unhappiness and discontent. This is not the life that God would have us live as Christians. First of all we have been given the greatest gift of all time. Jesus came to save the world and for us that is a personal and individual experience. For this alone we should start our day with thankfulness that we have been forgiven and promised eternal life. Starting your day with a thankful heart and a mindset of how blessed you are will lead to a calm assurance that no matter what comes your way, God has a plan. Thank you Lord for today, for the sunrise, for the creation that surrounds us but most of all thank you for my salvation…
