2 Corinthians 1:2-3...God of Comfort...
"Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;”
When in the course of our daily lives we realize that everything is moving forward without trouble or weariness we don’t seem to notice, or acknowledge, that it is God’s comfort and peace that are lifting us high above the fray, moving us along and gathering us closer to our to our Lord. We do recognize the Lord’s comfort once our path is obstructed as we rely on God’s grace, and the comfort only He can give, to see us through. God’s loving arms are always open and ready to carry us through whatever we may be facing. His loving kindness gives us the strength to face each day, refreshed and renewed by the Holy Spirit that abides within us. Praise God today for the comfort He provides to us each and every day, whether we recognize it immediately or not.
