Genesis 1:14-19...God Created it All...
And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
How great is it when the sun comes out?! Many songs have been written and many more poems about the warmth and comfort that it gives us to see and feel the sun on our faces. God did that! On the fourth day of creation God placed a greater light for daytime and called it the sun. This was not a billion year experience or a clash of the Big Bang theory but rather an intentional creation of God. If we let the rhetoric of those that wish to skew the creation of the world and all that is in it, pronouncing false doctrines, then we lose a bit of comfort that God created for us. God created the Heaven and the Earth and that is truth. Every day brings more evidence and our hearts and minds know that it is fact. Be thankful to God when the sun rises and when it appears from the clouds. Enjoy its warmth and comfort.
Blessings,
