Psalm 4:7-8...Peaceful Sleep...

Fill my heart with joy
when their grain and new wine abound.
In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety.

We are very blessed as a nation and a community that we live in peace. Many are not as fortunate. Civil unrest, religious war and dictatorship abound throughout the world. Thousands upon thousands of people live in fear and turmoil. Yet even in those distraught areas there is hope. There is peace and there is God’s promise. Even in the worst of places and the hardest of circumstances, God may be found. He is always there. For this reason it is important that we share the love of Christ and that we tell the gospel story. We are not always aware of the circumstances that surround even the closest of our friends, let alone strangers, so it is imperative that we exemplify the compassion and love of Jesus Christ. It is because of His sacrifice that we experience joy in our hearts and peace in our minds. Share the good news
