Acts 17:24-28...There is a Plan...

“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’”

Acknowledging who God is and what He has done is primary in understanding the gospel. God made the world and everything in it. It all belongs to Him, period. Our own sinful nature tends to make us forget these things and if we are not careful we become more like the world than like Christ. God has determined the number of days that we will live, where we will reside and has provided for us in every way, everyday of our lives. Beyond these daily provisions, He has given us a path to righteousness and a heavenly home through His Son Jesus Christ. Every way we look we see God and everything we touch belongs to God. When we put things in their right perspective, thanking God for all that He has done, it is far more easy to see where He is leading us.
