Acts 19:11-12...Pause and Observe...

God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to those who were ill, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them.

Paul was used by God to spread the gospel message. God turned him from a life of persecution against the christian community to a messenger of the gospel, In fact, one of the greatest that ever lived. God performed many miracles through Paul, as we read in this passage, and even more, the message of Christ was shared with thousands. These miracles are still around today but heavily overshadowed by the many distractions that surround us. Lives are still being changed, many sick are still being healed and God’s work continues to press forward. While we may be caught up in the swirling tide of busy lives that encompass us, we need to slow the pace, calm our hearts and minds and see Jesus at work. At the same time we need to profess His lovingkindness and His promise to everyone. Our task is simple, love God and love others. Thank you Lord for all your many blessings!
