John 13:34-35...Above All Else, LOVE...

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Of all the things Jesus taught during His ministry here on earth, this was the greatest lesson He imparted. “Love One Another”. Not just a suggestion but a command. “You Must”. Without love all other deeds, gestures or intentions fade quickly. The root of our faith and the foundation for our ministry is LOVE. God loved us so much He sent His only Son for our salvation. How much different the world would be today if love were the basis for all that we do and say. It only takes a moment to look around and see the pure hatred that is evident in the world today, therefore we must be evermore diligent in showing the love of Christ in all that we do and especially in all that we say. Pray that the Love of Christ might be evident in all that you do today.
