John 10:27-28...Can't Touch This...

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

On these cold days of winter it is very comforting to have a warm bowl of soup, hot chocolate and snuggle in under a blanket for warmth. Comfort and security are things that bring us great joy and peace. We have this same comfort in the knowledge of our salvation. We have been purchased for a price, Jesus paid the price, and our comfort is in the fact that no one will ever be able to take our salvation away. Though some may try to put us down or even mock us for our belief, we remain in His promise and find joy in the eternal hope that resides within us. As Christians we know our destination and are secure in our our faith and belief. We also should be sparked, in our spirit daily, to share this good news and to share the love of Christ. Our salvation is secure and our destiny is eternal life with our shepherd.
