Mark 11:22-25...Faith Moves Mountains...

“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Everyday we read and hear the news and we are constantly beat down with negativity and complaints. This puts a lot of strain on our faith as we hear more and more of the bad versus the good. Another good reason to be in God’s Word more often! Here is where the Good News is found. The promises of God and the love that flows from its pages are an inspiration to each of us. Jesus taught us to have faith in God. Enough so that whatever we ask for, believing in faith, will be ours. We cannot spend our time and energy on the negative things of this world. If so we will become weak and fall. We need, desperately need, to strengthen our faith through the word and to commit to living our lives so that Jesus may be seen in our every step and heard in every word. We cannot afford to be caught up in the hate and rhetoric that surrounds us. Instead we must spread the love of Christ and see what miracles unfold before us.
