Psalm 147:10-11...Follow His Plan...

"His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse,
nor his delight in the legs of the warrior;
the Lord delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love.”

We spend a great deal of our time trying to prove ourselves to someone, be it our employer, our friends or even our families. We are caught up in the day-to-day grind of striving to become a success to those around us instead of paying attention to what really matters. We fall into the trap of believing that we are in control and we even get angry when the outcome is not exactly like we thought or imagined it would be. Giving up control is hard, it is against our human nature but it is imperative if we are to succeed in the kingdom of God. He has a plan for us, a plan to prosper us in His kingdom. A plan that is not only good but perfect! Only through adhering to His plan and walking daily with Christ, seeking His will and trusting in Him, will we become the success that glorifies Him, and that is what really matters. Pray that God will guide you daily through His perfect plan today.
