Matthew 5:9...Thanks to All that Keep the Peace...

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

As Christians we should always feel compelled to make peace in every situation that we encounter. We are filled to overflowing with love and compassion and should wield these tools at every chance. As children we were taught to respect officers of the law and to understand that they stood as a model of peacemakers and protectors for our communities. Today’s world has turned that proposition upside down mostly because they have forgotten the core principle in respect. In order to gain respect you must show the same for others. Some jobs are hard but being a peace officer today is exceptionally difficult. Take the opportunity whenever you see an officer to thank them and show that you are in their corner. Share your love and respect, kindness and compassion to everyone you meet so that you might easily be recognized as one of God’s children.
