1 Peter 5:6-7

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Looking for someone that is humble is a real struggle in today’s landscape. So many are looking for recognition through social media, friendships and whatever means are available. It is true that there is some satisfaction when we are recognized and we feel a sense of accomplishment, however, we should not dwell on that feeling as a way to feed our inner self. Our nourishment comes through God’s Word and through communication with Him. Don’t worry about who notices your accomplishments, don’t be anxious about what is to come and take time each day to lay your worries and stress at the feet of Jesus and allow Him to guide you through. After all He cares for each of us and He is our Father in whom we trust...
