Psalm 23:1-2...Look Around, See His Wonder...

The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.

If you take a moment to stop and look at the perpetual cycle of most people, you would conclude that we work long and hard to acquire things that we want that we often cast aside after a short period of use. Although we rest assured that our needs are met through the shepherd’s hand we desire more, often not content with our current state but desiring something different or better. These are the times we should take a step back and look around us, enjoy the green pastures and listen to the still waters. These are the times that we should thank God for His abundant provision and for the many desires of our hearts that He supplies. Each day we should stop, breathe and take in all that God is doing for us, providing for us and leading us through. Raising our voices we should praise His Holy Name and give thanks accordingly.
