Matthew 2:19-21..Ready to Go?...

"After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, 'Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child’s life are dead.' So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel.”

Once again Joseph had heard from the angel of the Lord and again it was time to make a change. Joseph listened to the Lord and acting accordingly, and quickly, moving his family from the safety of Egypt to Israel. God’s hand was upon Joseph and Joseph was obedient to the instruction of the Lord. As we launch into this new year and decade it would be wise for us to listen to what God has in store for each of us. By spending time each day in God’s Word and praying for His direction in our lives we will find that path becomes more clear and the purpose more obvious. Pray for direction, pray for your friends and family, pray for God’s healing on our nation and pray that His will be done.
