Luke 6:37-38...Look for Opportunities...

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

We find ourselves at times judging people according to what they might be wearing, what type of car they have or even for they way they speak. It is not that we intend to be hurtful but we typically don’t give everyone the same opportunity to be known. Jesus was and is willing to accept all who come to Him, just as you are. Many times this pre-judgement blinds us from the opportunity of reaching out, helping or giving to others and thereby we miss the blessing afforded to us. Take a moment to stop and really look at the world around you and respond to the opportunities that God places in your path.
