Matthew 5:1-2...Listen as He Speaks...

"Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.”

Jesus now comes to the point of His Sermon on the Mount. He has been preaching and healing throughout the land and now shares with His disciples and others the greatest sermon ever preached. Here, upon a mountain, He shares the way in which we should live. The way that we should treat others and the purpose of our lives as Christians. There would be great value in returning to this sermon often to remind ourselves of the many and important things of life. Our witness is not caught up only in what we say but much more in what we do and how we treat others. Read through this sermon carefully, storing this great knowledge in your heart and mind.
