Matthew 4:23...Looking Out for Others...

"Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people."

Jesus ministry was filled with teaching followed by healing. Many were flocking to see Him and to hear the good news of salvation and many more were seeking physical healing as well, for themselves or for a loved one. Jesus found time for each of them and ministered to them in a loving and kind way. With each healing He shared the loving gospel message. So much of what occurs today is about seeking recognition or honor for our actions, yet Christ showed us how to be humble and how to serve others. He went to the afflicted and ministered to them in their home towns. He gave the gospel message and healing without receiving anything in return. Giving is about more than that which we place in the offering plate. Be ever mindful of the needs around you.
