Wilderness Scout Ministries has completed its third Marriage Survival Training course and is finding that the message they are presenting to law enforcement officers and their spouses is desperately needed. One of the participants of the third retreat, held on September 11-12, sent an email the week following the retreat. “Wanted to say how wonderful the class was. The information you and Denise presented is, I feel, invaluable to ANY married couple in law enforcement.” He went on to say that he shared his experience with his Chief and their department has agreed to classify the class as officer training which will allow the officers to be paid for taking the class. He even stated that he was interested in participating as a presenter of one of the modules in a future event. Praise and worship music was provided by Ricky Traywick, the brother of Randy Travis. The participants particularly enjoyed the food provided by “Uncle Jojo" and the campfire on Saturday night. The next training event will be held on November 6-7.
