1 Samuel 9:15-17...God Already Knows...

Now the day before Saul came, the Lord had revealed this to Samuel: “About this time tomorrow I will send you a man from the land of Benjamin. Anoint him rulerover my people Israel; he will deliver them from the hand of the Philistines. I have looked on my people, for their cry

has reached me.” When Samuel caught sight of Saul, the Lord said to him, “This is the man I spoke to you about; he will govern my people.”

Each day has new opportunities for us to explore. Many are good yet there are some avenues that we do not need to spend our time chasing after. Knowing the difference in these is all about listening to the divine direction of God on our life. Samuel exercised this ability quite well and listened to what God had to say about the soon to be anointed King. He followed the path laid before him and selected Saul. Often we say that God has a plan and it is always true. We may not see or understand at first but we always see the results and we should always give praise and honor to God for all that He does. Spend you time in thankful praise for the provisions and plans of God are great…
