Matthew 5:14-16...Let Your Light Shine!...

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good and glorify your Father in heaven.

As Christians we have been called to be “the light of the world”. We are the example of how to live like Jesus taught his disciples with humility, compassion and forgiveness. If we allow the world to close in around us and steal the intensity of our light we must be resolve in recharging that light through the Word of God. By reading and studying the Bible we come to understand more about the magnificence of God. We see how He weaves His will throughout history and we see His direction for our lives.God has a plan for you. That in itself is a wonderful revelation, God knows who I am and despite my shortcomings He has a plan for my life and for yours. Thank you Lord!
