Psalm 40:5-6...Blessed Beyond Measure...

“Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.”

Whenever your heart is troubled or you feel a little bit down, this is a great piece of scripture that holds a remedy. It is impossible to feel down and out when you start remembering all that God has done for you, all that He has provided and all the many times He has answered your prayers. It is hard to feel troubled when you simply look around at His creation and admire the majesty of color, texture and landscape that surrounds us everyday. God’s unlimited power and provision are remarkable and we stand in awe every time that we start to list or thank Him for what He has done. We are so undeserving, yet He continues to lavish us with His love and kindness. Take a moment during your prayers to thank God for all that He does for you and all that He provides for you. You will find it takes a while!
