Isaiah 30:18...Wait Here...
“Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!”
Wait here. This is a phrase that we are not necessarily fond of hearing. The implication that we can no longer move forward toward our intended destination causes us a bit of anxiousness. We have become a people of constant movement, always in search of the next thrill or the next place to visit. While adventure and travel are good and often necessary we also need to stop along the way. To wait and to see what God has in store for us before launching out on our own. These time of pausing, waiting and holding in place are blessed. They are the times that we can commune with God through His Word and to communicate with Him through prayer to understand the direction of our next steps. God is faithful and true. He will guide you through what is to come and illuminate the path before you.
