Philippians 4:8...Think About These Things...

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Have you ever had one of those moments when you wonder if what you are thinking would be pleasing to God or for that matter acceptable or beneficial to your heart, mind and soul? The verse above gives us a good checklist or filter of what things we should think about and ponder upon. It I really quite simple and something that should be used as our guide everyday. Think about the pure and excellent and praise God for all of the praiseworthy things He has provided for us to think about. Set your mind on things above and lift your eyes and heart in praise…
