Romans 12:9-13...Joy, Faith, Prayer...

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

God is Love and through His Son Jesus He has shown us how to love and how to serve. It is our purpose to share the love of Christ with those surrounding us and to help teach others how to love as well. In order to do this we need to root out evil and cling to what we know to be righteous and true. In doing so we must be faithful and give our best in serving our Lord. While we are serving we are given three directives in the scripture above, Joyl in hope, patience in affliction and faith in prayer. These three tenants of our faith are vital to survive in a world that is trying to tear us down and crush our beliefs. Prayer is our most powerful tool and we should wield it daily against the principalities that are poised to strike. Love, pray and share how the Lord is blessings you every day…

Blessings,
