Romans 12:6-8...You Have Gifts...

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

I find it quite odd that the practice of medicine and the job of the news media share a common belief that everyone is generally the same. Look at how treatments are considered for most people today with very little personalization applied. And certainly the media considers all of us to be grouped into two categories, the ones they like and the others. The fact is that we are all very different, unique is the exact word that fits best. We are made in the image of God and each of us is given talent and giftst that are different and personalized just for us. We are given a mission to spread the love and message of salvation through Jesus Christ. This is the common thread that we have even though our talents and gifts are very different. Recognize your talents, pray about them and use them to glorify God and to raise up His Kingdom. Use them to reach the lost and to comfort those who are hurting. Use your gifts and your talents as God intended…
