Romans 15:13...Filled with Joy...

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

This passage bears re-reading several times. Having the hope that comes from God, that we enjoy as Christians, gives us joy and peace. Too often we let the trials and tribulations of the day squash that peace and joy, instead we should concentrate and focus clearly on that hope. No matter what we face in the day we have the hope of tomorrow, the hope of eternity and the joy and peace that our salvation brings to us. Furthermore we should be bubbling over with the power that this hope brings through the Holy Spirit. The power of a changed life, a new heart, a renewed mind and the power to overcome everything that lies ahead. Let it sink in as you re-read the verse. Our trust in God gives us great joy and peace, more than we can measure and always enough for our circumstances.
