Matthew 7:7-8...Just Ask...

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

As much as we like it when someone meets our need without a request or notice the fact is that most often in order to obtain something you need to ask. When you want an answer you ask. When you have a need you read out to those around you and ask for help. When you are in need of prayer you ask. Our Heavenly Father has taught us to ask. He has promised to fulfill our needs. He has shown us that we must act by asking, by seeking and by knocking on the door. Primarily we must ask for His forgiveness, seek His mercy and knock on the door to Heaven so that our faith and trust in God will open that door and that we might go in. God is faithful and He has given us the life lessons to glorify Him. Ash God for what you need, seek His answer and be ready to enter through the door to the next station in life that God has prepared for you.
