And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Life could be pretty simple if we were to apply the principles of today’s verse on a regular basis. However, we tend to complicate life by taking the reins and looking for rewards and adulations. We seem to always want to hear how well we have done rather than to give praise and honor to Christ for allowing us to be used in His work. We hear a lot about how we control our destiny. While we may influence it in a small way but our life is in God’s hands and if we allow Him to use us for His Kingdom’s purpose we will find a life that is very fulfilling.
