Genesis 3:17-19...God's Provision...

To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’“Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

Until the sin of Adam things were very good. God’s creation was without flaw and man was literally in a paradise within the Garden of Eden. Then came sin and because of the fall mankind would need help in his daily toll. Until the fall of man there was no death. Now man was condemned to return to the dust from which he was formed. Adam would need to work hard and would realize his dependency on God to provide blessings of food and shelter. God provided the first clothes for Adam and Eve and it is through His grace that He continues to provide for us today. God knew, with Adam’s sin, that there would need to be a Savior and his perfect plan was revealed in Jesus. We do not have to look very far to understand that God is in control and that His way is always the best. Pray for guidance and for peace as you follow God’s perfect plan for your life.
