1 John 1:3-4…We Have Experience...

"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.”

One of the most frustrating things about the presentation of the news media today is the lack of a witness or experience in the stories that are being promoted. Rather the “news” is full of speculation and supposition, highly opinionated, uncorroborated and without substance. More often than not the story is already written before any fats are gathered and even then only the facts that compliment the view at hand are used. Being a witness requires having seen, experienced or at least the total understanding of what meaning surrounds the circumstances at hand. That is our joy as Christians to be able to witness to the fellowship and joy that we have experienced with Christ Jesus. We are privileged to be a part of God’s family and to have the truth of the gospel as our joy in all situations. Embrace these truths, share your experiences and allow the love of Christ to flow freely throughout your day.
