Colossians 1:15-17…Holding It Together...

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

There are times in our lives that everything seems to happen at once and we become very busy with just mangling the task at hand, hoping to get to the rest later. We try our best to get to everything but our efforts are exhausting. We are amazed at how everything is holding together and keeping from spinning out of control, despite the fact that our efforts seem to fail. This is when we realize, acknowledge and praise God as He is in control and He holds all things together. This promise and certainty will bring calm to our minds and to our hearts. Remember that all things have been created by God and all things are under His control and that He holds it all together. Thank You Lord for your care and for for your love.
