“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

Our lives are filled with many things that we experience day after day. If we are not careful the worries and troubles that we come across will mount up in front of us and act as a wall keeping us from spending time with God. This leads to frustration and anxiety which are detrimental to our welfare and contradictory to our fellowship with our Lord. Having a quiet time with the Lord is not an easy thing in the fast moving world that we live in today, yet it is the single most important thing we can do each day to refresh and renew our spirit and to draw us closer to God’s Word. Take the time, make it happen, spend time reading in God’s Word and listen as He speaks to you and refreshes you along the way.
