1 Thessalonians 5:17-18...Thankfulness...

“Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Giving thanks to God for His many blessings is not just a situational event. We are not just thankful when things are going our way or when God is blessing us with success. We are thankful in all circumstances knowing that God is with us, comforting us, leading us, loving us, guiding us through life and revealing His plan for each of us. We are thankful that beyond our wildest imagination God saw our need, even before we were born, and provided the path to our salvation through the cross. We are thankful that God calls us His children. For these things and many more we are thankful and because of our gratefulness we should be in communication and prayer with God constantly, thanking Him and praising His glorious name.
