Romans 13:8-10...Love Your Neighbor...

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

We certainly live in a world that is in debt beyond the capacity to repay. Wealth, fame and fortune have replaced love as the currency of our time. Instead of loving our neighbor we have become a society of selfish and wrongful motives. God handed down to Moses the Ten Commandments for us to follow and instead we find our leaders of today removing any sign of these instructions from the public view. Common sense has seemed to vanish. This is the time for us, as Christians, to wield the power of prayer, unite with the power of love and to express this love to our neighbors. This is the summation of all the commandments. It is the ultimate expression of our faith that we love one another and that we do no harm to others. Wield your power today as you reach out to your neighbors and love on them, forgive them and enjoy the blessings that follow.

Blessings,
