John 4:13...Grateful Hearts...

“Jesus answered, ’Everyone who drinks this water be thirsty again, but whoever drinks from the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life,’”

We live in a season where there is something new and exciting revealed almost every day. This is captivating for many who sit on the edge of their seat anticipating the next best thing. While it is good to want the latest and greatest, it confers in us an attitude of covetous that we seemingly don’t notice. Before long we are no longer satisfied with what we have but are anxious to obtain more and then greed starts to creep in and take hold. It is not that we as Christians should live in abject poverty, nor should we reject the blessings that God has prepared for us. Rather it is about our attitude and our gratitude. Knowing where our supply originates and who is in charge of our destiny is what matters. God had a plan for our lives. He has an ample supply of all that we could ever need or want. Holding fast to the truth of God’s Word we should spend less time drawing from the well of this world and drink from the fountain of living water that God has supplied.
