Jeremiah 17:7-8...We Are Blessed...

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

There will be seasons of life that seem to be less plentiful than others, like that of a drought. As Christians we should not fear or worry about these as we have rooted ourselves in Jesus Christ and have a firm understanding that He is our supply and our provider. This is what gives us the confidence to rise above the worry and concern that others may have and to demonstrate our faith in God. You see, when we are able to rely on God during the seasons of rain we are easily able to rely on Him during the time of drought. God has proclaimed that we are blessed if we trust in Him and if we rely on His provision. Pray each day for God’s protection, His provision and for His blessings. They are there for the asking…
