1 Corinthians 12:2-3...Love In Your Heart...

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

The world at large is seeking to acquire many things. Power, wealth, control and even belief in something that will raise them above their current position. The sad part is that so many have yet to hear the gospel message. They have no understanding of God or His gift to us of love. They need to hear the text above and ponder on the importance of just how small everything is compared to love. Even if we were able to gain all knowledge and understanding and had the faith to move mountains, we would be nothing, nothing, without love. We see the power of hatred in our world. We are bombarded with scenes of people lashing out with their words and even physical violence, all in the name of hatred. We need to start seeing the power of love. We need to look closely, as it still exist, at the small things, the gentle things, the kind words and the encouragement of each other. It is time to stand up and shout out our love for our neighbors, our co-workers and especially our family. Love binds our hearts together and love overcomes all evil. Love is powerful and it is from God! Use it to change lives…
