Proverbs 12:25...Cheer Up...

Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.

Today we find ourselves in a situation unlike anything we have experienced before. Without much effort we can find our way to worry or be anxious about what to do or how to handle what is before us. First and foremost we need to understand that God is in control. With that in mind we should be able to reduce our stress and worry to almost zero. The second part of the proverb above is the action part. Not only does a kind word cheer up the person who receives it but it has a great uplifting affect on the person bringing the good word. Make time in your day today to share a kind word with a loved one, a friend or a family member. For the next couple of days, as we walk through this trial, put this into practice daily. I pray that for every kind word you share that God will multiply it many times over and that as we share with each other we will find that our hearts are of good cheer.

Blessings,
