Mark 11:24-25...Pray and Forgive...
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
We focus a lot on the first part of this verse because it is a promise of answered prayer, however, the second part is of great importance. We cannot simply receive God’s forgiveness without receiving His grace and through that gift our hearts and our minds are transformed. We are blessed with a heavenly gift that allows us to forgive and to show the love of Christ through grace that we apply to our lives and to those who have wronged us. The employment of this grace in our daily walk shows that we love Christ Jesus and that we know and accept His grace and forgiveness in our lives. Love one another is our greatest command and within that directive we should live…
