Psalm 30:4-5...Joy Is Just Around the Corner...

Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment,
but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.

“Rejoicing comes in the morning.” Whenever we are sad or in the midst of a problem that seems to linger and cause us trouble, we need to remember this portion of the verse above. God’s favor is upon us as Christians and He will see us through our darkest hour. He is always right here with us ready to wrap His loving arms around us. Though we may not be able to see through the fog of the adversity we are experiencing, God is still there. Though we may feel all alone, we are not. In the depths of the darkest valley we need only to look and we find God right by our side. Remember that there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God, that is a promise that we should hold dear.
